The Prevalent BBNaija Show To Be Held In Nigeria As Ebuka Returns As Host Of 2019 Edition.

The managers have publicized that the fourth season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will be staged in Nigeria, the cable reports.

It will be the first time reality TV show will be shot outside South Africa.

Throughout the second season of the show, Lai Mohammed, Minister of information and culture, had directed the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to examine why it was being staged in South Africa.

The minister had said the NBC should regulate whether multichoice, by shooting the show in South Africa, penetrated the Nigeria Broadcasting Code.

Throughout a press conference on Tuesday, the managers said auditions for the fourth season of the show will be held in the month of February 1 & 2.

Auditions to be held in eight locations; Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Calabar, Abuja, Warri, Benin, and Enugu.

For its fourth season, Big Brother Naija has gone separate ways with the online store, PayPorte.

Betting Platform, Bet9ja, was proclaimed as the new prime sponsor of the reality show.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Media personality, will return as the host of season four.

The Reality Show is anticipated to air after the 2019 elections.

Miracle Igbokwe was the winner of the 2018 edition with the grand prize of N45 million and a sports utility vehicle.

The 2017 Edition of the reality show was won by Efe Ejeba.
