Daredevil won’t show up in Deadpool 3, according to Charlie Cox
There were whispers that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil would show up in Spider-Man: No Way Home more than a year ago. As is customary for MCU performers, the actor made every effort not to confirm those leaks at the time. By late 2022, Cox, who has previously made appearances in a few Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) productions and will feature in the Disney Plus series Born Again, will no longer be keeping his return as Daredevil a secret. Charlie Cox is now refuting previous claims that Daredevil may show up in the third installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Deadpool.
Be aware that certain MCU spoilers may be included. The Deadpool 3 and No Way Home rumors are significantly different from one another.
Well before the movie’s debut, the former’s whole storyline was revealed.
We knew Matt Murdock would stand up for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in the movie because of this.
During interviews for projects outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Charlie Cox was forced to address the claims.
Yet things are different in the case of Deadpool 3. The guy who plays Daredevil is to blame for the rumor’s beginning.
The actor discussed his MCU role while attending the Comic-Con Winter Edition in Germany. In this context, he suggested that Daredevil may appear in a Deadpool film. “I believe that because of the tone of our show, there’s a space for Daredevil to pop up in Deadpool,” the actor remarked.
That would be awesome, I think.
It would be incredible to see these characters interact in the MCU, as we stated at the time. but only if the plot holds up. Deadpool 3 will be a sizable multiverse film with a ton of thrilling appearances. According to recent revelations, that is.
It would be fantastic if Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) crossed paths with Daredevil. Yet, it is not necessary for the sake of adding additional cameos to the movie.
Charlie Cox claims that Daredevil is absent from Deadpool 3.
In a TechRadar interview, the actor made an effort to set the record straight. Cox was quite clear that he wouldn’t be appearing in the future sequel.
“My goodness, what did I say again?” While discussing his Daredevil remarks in Germany, Cox questioned, “Oh yes, I said that in Germany, didn’t I?” I can say with certainty that I won’t be appearing in Deadpool 3.
Like every other MCU actor would do in order to avoid spoilers, Cox may very well be lying. But if he is, he’s doing it convincingly. He also doesn’t want fans of Daredevil to have the wrong ideas about what will happen next.
If that turns out to be accurate, I unintentionally ruined something, he remarked.”Fans who are anticipating something I say will wind up being disappointed if it isn’t,” he continued
Once more, these are not No Way Home, Daredevil rumors. Charlie Cox is the subject of the Deadpool 3 rumors this time. It is only logical to hear him explain the situation. In the spring of 2024, Disney Plus will release Daredevil: Born Again. On November 8, 2024, Deadpool 3 will be released in cinemas.
