50 Cent’s Aunt Shocked by Inclusion of S*x Scene in TV Show
|Curtis Jackson, better known as the rapper 50 Cent, made an appearance in season three of the TV show Power, playing the character Kanan. In one episode, Kanan has a romantic encounter with Candie, portrayed by Natalie Paul.
However, it seems that 50 Cent’s aunt was in for more than she bargained for when she watched the episode. While she was excited to see her nephew on the screen, the steamy scene between Kanan and Candie may have caught her off guard.
The rap icon, who is also an executive producer of the TV show Power, was reportedly angry when he discovered that a s*x scene in which he appeared showed his full frontal nudity without his approval.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, accused the show’s creator, Courtney Kemp, of leaving in a close-up shot of his character masturbating without his consent. He criticized Kemp and other creators of the show in a series of social media posts.
In one Instagram post, 50 Cent wrote, “Man I just saw episode 4 of POWER. Courtney I’m gonna kill you, this is not funny. I think I just saw my [eggplant emoji] in a scene. What the f*** Courtney, call my phone NOW!!!” It’s unclear whether 50 Cent’s concerns were addressed or resolved.
In a series of social media posts, 50 Cent expressed his anger and frustration about a sex scene in which his full frontal nudity was shown without his approval. The rapper, who is also an executive producer of the TV show Power, accused the show’s creator, Courtney Kemp, of including the scene without his consent.
“The sex scene was hard enough, man. It’s not a regular sex scene,” 50 Cent wrote in one post. “B*, I can’t believe you did that without telling me first. What the f is wrong with you?!”
He also criticized the show’s editing process, writing, “This s*** wasn’t in the first three edits.” In another post, 50 Cent expressed his frustration that his Auntie G would not be able to watch the show anymore due to his unexpected nudity.
After the episode aired, 50 Cent took to Instagram to explain the situation to his fans. He shared that his auntie G had called him, traumatized by what she had seen in the episode, and had to get up twice while watching it.
50 Cent appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and addressed the scandal surrounding his unexpected nudity in an episode of the TV show Power. The rapper explained that he knew his penis would be shown in the scene, but he didn’t know just how explicit the shot would be.
“I knew it was there, but in the original clips, it was darker. It wasn’t on, like, a big screen, like a life-sized version,” 50 Cent claimed. He added that the show’s creator, Courtney Kemp, had not shown him the explicit shot earlier because she didn’t think he needed to see it at that point.
During the interview, 50 Cent also shared that his aunt was upset with him for not warning her about the NSFW shot. “My aunt sees the show, and she’s like, ‘I’m traumatized!'” he said. “She texted me like, ‘What the f***? Why didn’t you tell me?'” It’s unclear whether 50 Cent has resolved the issue with Kemp and the show’s creators.
