Leaked Plot Details Confirmed in Hilarious Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Clip

As we approach the highly anticipated release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5th, marketing efforts have intensified, and fans can expect to see more footage from the movie. Marvel has even begun to release full clips from the film, including the recent one-minute clip titled “I Miss You.” This humorous clip is generating buzz, but it also appears to confirm a significant plot leak from several months ago. As we wait for the official premiere, fans can continue to speculate about what other surprises the movie has in store.

Clips of the new Guardians Vol. 3

The trailers released by Marvel so far have shown the Guardians sporting comically unusual space suits. One of the humorous aspects of these suits is that each of them is a different color, which is quite unexpected in the context of space suits. Typically, space suits are designed to look similar to one another, which aids communication among the wearers.

In one clip, the film focuses on the suits’ colors and how they relate to communication, resulting in a significant comedic moment. For example, to speak with Gamora, who wears a blue suit, you must press the orange button on your right arm. This odd setup makes no logical sense, as even Mantis, who does an excellent job explaining it, is bewildered.

How does this connect to the significant plot leak that occurred several months ago regarding Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? It all comes together if you have read all the leaked information available.

In a recent scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Peter Quill presses the blue button to communicate with Gamora, expressing how much he misses her and asking for another chance. However, Gamora shuts him down and reveals that Mantis, Drax, and Nebula were listening in on their conversation. The blue button is shown to be the general communication button, which is typical for the Guardians.

Interestingly, Groot and Rocket are absent from this scene, likely due to the limited colors on their arms. This absence highlights the importance of communication channels and how they are used to convey different meanings in the film.

Despite the humorous tone of the clip, director James Gunn has teased that Guardians Vol. 3 will not be the comedy fans have come to expect from the franchise. This suggests that there may be deeper meanings behind the use of communication channels and other elements of the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’s significant storyline leak

On December 15th, Guardians Vol. 3 leaks surfaced, revealing the alleged Marvel trailers that were shown at the Asia-Pacific Content Showcase event. According to the leak, the trailer featured a scene in which Quill tries to convince Gamora to open up to the possibility of a relationship. However, Gamora shuts him down, causing him to feel humiliated. Adding to his embarrassment, Nebula reveals that their entire conversation is being broadcast on an open channel, allowing everyone to hear Quill’s rejection.

Interestingly, this leaked scene matches exactly with a newly released clip from Marvel. Although the leak didn’t provide any details on the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, a separate leak from December 9th did offer some broad strokes of what to expect in the upcoming film.

Posted on the MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit, which is now closed to viewers, the plot leak said that Gamora would not fall in love with Peter in Vol. 3. Contrary to what fans might expect, they won’t end up together, and Peter will be heartbroken for most of the movie.

She’ll lead the Ravagers by the end of the movie, and Peter will leave the Guardians. The rest of the group will reform under Rocket and have a different name. One Guardian will die, the plot leak said.

Crucially, the plot leak also indicated that Gamora will not even remember Peter’s last name. The detail dropped before the December 15th coverage of the Asia-Pacific Content Showcase trailers. And some four months before this week’s I Miss You clip where she calls him Quinn.
