Exclusive Leak: Beats Studio Pro Revealed with Advanced Noise Cancelling and No Apple Chip

Recent discoveries in the beta version of iOS 16.4 have hinted at the release of a new pair of earbuds called the Beats Studio Buds+. However, further findings in macOS 13.4 have revealed yet another upcoming Beats product, this time known as the Beats Studio Pro. This information was initially shared on Twitter by Aaronp613, who mentioned that macOS 13.4 RC references a new ‘Beats Headset’ with the model number A2924, expected to be named Beats Studio Pro.

In an exclusive report, 9to5Mac disclosed that the Beats Studio Pro is being developed in collaboration with Samuel Ross from A-Cold-Wall, a partnership that has been fruitful in previous iterations of Beats products. Unlike the custom Apple chips found in other Apple audio devices, such as the AirPods line, this headphone will incorporate a Beats processor instead.

While the Beats Studio Pro may not offer features comparable to the AirPods Max, the publication has outlined some notable attributes. These include improved Active Noise Cancelling, Transparency mode, a USB-C port, and a selection of four distinct colors. It is important to note that without a custom Apple chip like the H1 or H2, the Beats Studio Pro will not have the convenience of fast pairing across various Apple devices or support for the Hey Siri voice command.

Considering the available information, the Beats Studio Pro seems to represent a departure from the previous Beats Solo Pro, which marked the first collaboration between Beats and Apple. Instead, the Beats Studio Pro appears to be a new iteration of the existing Beats Studio3 Wireless, which debuted back in 2017.

In terms of design, the materials used in the Beats Studio Pro seem to bridge the gap between the older Beats Studio and the Beats Pro lines. It is likely that the product will have a similar aesthetic to the 2019 Beats Solo Pro, albeit with larger cushions for enhanced comfort.

As for the release date and pricing, no specific details have been provided at this time. However, it is worth noting that Beats now has two exciting products in the pipeline to announce: the Beats Studio Buds Plus and the Beats Studio Pro. Fans will have to stay tuned for official announcements regarding availability and pricing from the company.
