NGO Foundation Gave N2m to Cancer Patients in Kebbi

A Non-Governmental Organization in Kebbi State, Nigeria, known as MEDICAID Centre Foundation, on Wednesday, gave two million Naira to 10 cancer patients.

Dr. Suraiya Mansur who is the foundation’s coordinator, while disbursing the amount in Birnin Kebbi, said: “Our donation is sequel to the worldwide celebrations of Cancer Day. We went round the state and got 10 affected persons to benefit from the donation to assist them with treatments.”

Dr. Suraiya Mansur urged the beneficiaries to use the funds judiciously so that another set of cancer patients can be considered for future donations.

Some of the beneficiaries, who spoked to journalists, thanked the foundation for the gesture.
