Mark Zuckerberg Seven-page Testimony to the US House of Rep.

After on Tuesday hearing in the Senate on Tuesday. The chairman and CEO of Facebook had to testify before the US House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce on Wednesday 11th April 2018. And this has to touch areas of key issues at hand including the Cambridge Analytica scandal as well as the Russia-linked Internet Research Agency’s misinformation campaign.



Josh Constine at TechCrunch has earlier said: it does offer some new information about the Russia-linked APT28 hacking group. Facebook says it detected and shut down accounts related to APT28 over the summer of 2016.

The seven-page statement started with the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg apology on Facebook failing to take a broad enough view of its responsibilities in the past years.  “That was a big mistake.
