Donald Trump Wants 6G Network ASAP
|5G network may be one of the greatest internet buzzwords around, but President Donald Trump is over it already. Trump has moved ahead to 6G. He announced this morning that alongside 5G he’d love to see 6G in the United States “as soon as possible.”
It’s not really clear what triggered Trump’s sudden desire for a next-gen cellular communications standards. Maybe Fox & Friends made mention of the Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 5G, and Trump was concerned that Verizon had no live 5G network on which the mobile could actually effectively function in the United States yet. Or perhaps the president’s phone got the AT&T’s 5G E update, reminding the President that US carriers are dishing out cheap tricks to convince customers that they have faster browsing speeds.
Trump tweet reads “I want 5G, and even 6G, technology in the United States as soon as possible. It is far more powerful, faster, and smarter than the current standard. American companies must step up their efforts, or get left behind. There is no reason that we should be lagging behind on………”
