How to Flash Samsung Galaxy J2 Core with Flash Tool, Firmware or Stock ROM
|Download Odin Flash Tool
To use the Odin Flash tool on Samsung after download, simply:
- Extract and run the installation as administrator (by double-clicking).
- After step 2, extract the ROM you downloaded for the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core you want to download.
- Ensure that only “Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time” is ticked.
- Now you need to put your phone into download mode by pressing the volume down, Home, Power key, and the volume up button.
- On the screen, you will see a yellow triangle to get into Odin mode.
- Connect the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core to your PC, and then Added will be seen showing the device has just connected successfully.
- Proceed to click on AP (this is for the new version of Odin), or click on PDA (this is for an older version of Odin), but using the new version is recommended.
- Now is the time to navigate to the folder containing the ROM of the device you want to flash.
- Select the ROM (ROM’s name for Samsung always ends with .tar or .md5).
- Allow Odin to process the ROM and after that click on Start.
- At this point, the flashing or upgrading process will start. You will see a green progress bar at the top left.
- Upgrading or Flashing might take up to 8 minutes (using a laptop with long-lasting battery is more preferable because of electricity shortage).
- After the above process if you see Pass at the top of Odin that means you have successfully upgraded or flash your device.
- Now the device will reboot.
- That’s all, enjoy your Samsung Galaxy J2 Core.
