How to Flash LG L80 or L80 Dual with Flash Tool, Firmware or Stock ROM

As well as how you can perform a hard or soft reset when your L80 or L80 Dual becomes unresponsive or should you choose to give to someone else with no data in it.

First of all, visit our Firmware page and download the flash file for your:

  • LG L80 or L80 Dual

Note: You will need to place your phone on charge with a working charger till you are sure it has charged above 50 percent before your formatting process commences else your phone might not wake up even after formatting.
Next, you will have to follow the instruction of using a LGUP Smart Tool as explained here below.

Easy Steps on how to flash LG L80 or L80 Dual Back to Its Factory State:

Step 1: First of all you will need to Download LG drivers.

Step 2: Next you should proceed to download the lasted version of LGUP (LG Smart Tool).

Step 3: Now you will have to Download and Install Stock ROM for LG L80 or L80 Dual.

Step 4: Now you will have to Install LGUP.msi on your PC where you will carry out the process.

Step 5: On your LG L80 or L80 Dual Press and hold the volume up key while you power off.

Step 6: Connect your LG L80 or L80 Dual to the computer by using USB cable.

Step 7: Switch your LG L80 or L80 Dual to the download mode.

Step 8: Launch the LGUP software on your PC.

Step 9: Next, proceed to select the Upgrade Option.

Make a choice to refurbish, upgrade in LGUP:
For upgrade to a new firmware, like moving from Marshmallow to Nougat, choose UPGRADE option.
For a full wipe and flash a clean firmware installation, and run again once you set it as above. You will notice now that the MM KDZ will still be showing in the FILE PATH section. Proceed to select REFURBISH and make sure BIN file is ticked.
For downgrade to Lollipop from Android Marshmallow, select REFURBISH and make sure BIN file is ticked.

Step 10: Now you will need to select your already downloaded KDZ firmware file.

Step 11: Flash Stock firmware on LG L80 or L80 Dual. After opening, Click the start button to start the installation.

Step 12: Now relax and watch as you wait for the process to finish.

Step 13: When complete your LG L80 or L80 Dual will reboot automatically. But if it doesn’t then you should power it on yourself.

Step 14: That’s all, enjoy your LG L80 or L80 Dual.
