Solution for Samsung Galaxy s4 won’t boot or Stuck on Boot Loop

Samsung happens to be one of the leading Smartphone manufacturers in the world, knocking out well-known brands in that aspect of the tech industry with their awesome, well-designed and best-experience for users of smartphones. No doubt, there is only one other company to compete with them for good smartphones like what Samsung is making.

Don’t really know how true it is, but people claim that Samsung’s logo was a bite of an Apple. Somehow, that portion is a good fit for the missing part of Apple. Let’s take the logo off the picture discuss how we can make the Galaxy S4, S6… turn on or boot not getting stuck on boot loop.

Here is how to fix Galaxy S4 that won’t turn on:

  • First of all, ensure that an SD card is not mounted. If there is any, take off the battery and remove it.
  • Using a USB cable connect your phone to PC
  • Hold down the ‘Volume down’ and ‘Power button’ simultaneously for about ten to fifteen seconds.
  • Phone will vibrate and turn on.

If that doesn’t fix it, then try this

  • With your phone still connected to the PC.
  • Hold down the volume up and power button simultaneously for another ten to fifteen seconds.
  • Step three is to resolve the boot issue if one and two above is abortive.
  • Now, unplug your USB cable from the phone.
  • Hold down the Power button, Volume Up and the home button all at the same time.
  • Keep hold until the android logo pops up together with the recovery options menu.
  • Using the volume keys to move up and down and power button to select option.
  • Select “Reboot System Now”.

Perhaps, the phone still doesn’t boot to the home screen. Try this step:

  • Hold down the Power button, Volume Up and the home button all at the same time.
  • Keep hold until the android logo pops up together with the recovering option menu.
  • Using the volume keys to move up and down and power button to select option.
  • This time you will need to select the “Wipe cache partition” option.

Note: wiping cache partition doesn’t erase your data.

The preceding steps won’t work if your battery is dead. So try to swap it with good battery for Samsung Galaxy S4 that has a detachable battery. And also be sure your power button is working.

If you have tried all and it failed, then do hard reset.
