T-Mobile’s Go5G Plus Plan Outshines AT&T and Verizon’s New Phone Policy

T-Mobile has recently unveiled its latest “Un-carrier” move that aims to compete with AT&T and Verizon’s new phone policy. The company has announced the Go5G Plus plan, which will provide customers with a brand-new phone every two years. This plan is now available and replaces T-Mobile’s Magenta Max plan. The price of the Go5G Plus plan ranges from $90 per month for one line up to $185 per month for four lines, making it the company’s most expensive plan.

Mike Sievert, the CEO of T-Mobile, stated that the company aims to challenge the other carriers who still focus on locking customers down. Sievert said, “At T-Mobile, we just think differently. We’re focused on being the provider you choose, not the one you’re stuck with. That’s why we created Phone Freedom … because every wireless customer deserves more freedom and fairness they can count on.”

With the Go5G Plus plan, customers can receive a new phone every two years, which is an improvement from the current three years offered by AT&T and Verizon. The plan also offers 50GB of mobile hotspot data, Netflix and Apple TV Plus subscriptions, unlimited talking and texting, and some high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.

T-Mobile’s Go5G Plus plan also includes taxes and fees, which AT&T and Verizon do not provide in their plans. The company’s latest phone plan release follows the recent announcement of Roam by Starlink, a new global roaming service. Additionally, the smartphone rumor season is in full swing with leaks of the upcoming Pixel 8.
