How to Install Stock Firmware on Android Smartphone Using TWRP
|Earlier we shared several topics relating to how Android user can flash that smartphones using Smartphone (SP) Flash Tool when their phone becomes unresponsive due to system software error or application software that has planted an adware and made it unusable. That process requires whoever wants to DIY to first of all download the SP flash tool application for his/her PC and proceed to download the stock firmware for the device with malfunctioning issue.
NOTE: Using the wrong Stock Firmware as explained for that process might damage your device permanently. So, be sure to check your phone pack or similar device to know your phone model and the firmware to install.
The steps giving here can be applicable when trying to fix/unbrick an Android smartphone or simply put back a stock ROM from a custom ROM on your device.
Before you get started:
· This tutorial is meant for only Android devices.
· You should make sure your device Bootloader is Unlocked.
· Make sure you have TWRP Recovery installed on your device.
· Your phone battery should be at least 50% charge so it won’t get stocked in the process.
· Remember that this process might wipe out all user data on your device. So, try your possible options to create a backup before you begin the upgrade. Here is a guide on how to backup your device.

Here is How to Install Firmware Using TWRP Recovery
Step 1: Backup your current ROM with the steps provided here.
Step 2: Download the above required zip files and transfer them to your device via Phone Storage or SD Card.
Step 3: Process to boot your device into TWRP Recovery mode with the TWRP Recovery file.
Step 4: Now run the update.zip from “install” option >> look for update.zip and Swipe to Flash the firmware.
Step 5: After step 4 without restarting your device, press Install >> browse the second data file name and run it.
Step 6: That’s all. Restart your smartphone and enjoy your newly install firmware.
