Perhaps arriving this summer are GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas that has been remastered

Since Grand Theft Auto V was released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, over ten years have passed. GTA 5 was later re-released by Rockstar Games on the PS4 and Xbox One, and on November 11th, an improved version will be available for the PS5 and Xbox One Series X. Rockstar hasn’t mentioned GTA 6 at all throughout that period. The sequel might not come for many years. Nevertheless, a recent source claims that Rockstar is hard at work on a trilogy of GTA remastered games for next-generation platforms, including GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas.

The GTA trilogy is now being remastered.

Rockstar is reportedly working on remastered editions of the original 3D GTA games right now, according to Kotaku.
The website has learned through sources that Unreal Engine is being used to remake all three games.
They will combine “vintage and new visuals.”
According to one insider who claims to have seen footage of the games in action, they are similar to the significantly modified originals.
Also, the sources reveal that Rockstar Dundee is in charge of the remasters’ creation.
One of Rockstar’s newest studios is located in Dundee, a city in Scotland, according to Kotaku.
According to sources, the studio is collaborating with Rockstar on GTA 5’s next-generation port.
The studio used to be known as Rockstar Dundee before that.
It appears that Rockstar has frequently changed its plans for all of these remasters.
At first, it appeared like the studio would give out the remasters to those who bought GTA 5 for next-generation platforms.
Then Rockstar made the decision to independently distribute the remastered titles early this year. Rockstar then took a new turn, delaying the release of the remasters until the fall.

GTA will be remastered for the Switch and mobile

The GTA remastered trilogy will apparently be accessible once it launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PC, Stadia, and mobile devices. The studio may postpone the PC and mobile versions until 2022 while it focuses on the console versions. Rockstar is expected to bundle and release all of the titles at once.
And finally, according to Kotaku’s sources, these Rockstar remasters won’t be the last ones.
The studio may also remake the first Red Dead Redemption if the GTA trilogy does well on the market.
Although fans are still clamoring for sequels, these remaster may satisfy them until 2021.
