Pixel 7a: Google’s Latest Smartphone to Offer Vibrant Coral Color Choice

If you’ve been hoping for a new color option for the upcoming Pixel 7a, there’s some good news for you. According to Evan Blass, who is also known as @evleaks on Twitter and was spotted by The Verge, the Pixel 7a is said to come in a new Coral colorway. Blass shared an image of the phone in this new color, and while I typically prefer Apple’s version of Space Gray, the Coral color looks pretty cool. It might be time for me to start considering more colorful phones. Do you remember when Pixel phones had different colored side buttons? That was a neat feature. It would be great to see a return to that trend. While we wait for the Pixel 7a to release this summer, there have already been leaked images of the phone in a black colorway, captured by an actual user back in March.

The person who got their hands on the Pixel 7a leaked that the phone will reportedly have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, at least for the model they obtained. However, they also noted that it is a software prototype from the manufacturer and not an official product, so there may be some variations in the final product. The phone’s front also has a management code.

Expected to have a 6.1-inch display, the Pixel 7a will come with a USB-C charging port and a physical SIM tray. Unfortunately, it is unlikely to feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Apart from the Black and Coral colorways, rumors suggest that the phone will also be available in White and Blue.

Google is set to hold its I/O developer conference on May 10, 2023. The event could feature the launch of the Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro.
