Rumors Suggest Google Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a be Unveiled on May 10th
|If you’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of Google’s long-rumored Pixel Fold, you may not have to wait much longer. According to recent rumors from leakers Jon Prosser and SnoopyTech, Google may unveil the Pixel Fold and the Pixel 7a at its I/O developer conference on May 10th. Prosser believes that the Pixel Fold will be available for pre-order on the same day from the Google Store, with carrier pre-orders beginning on May 30th and a public release date of June 27th. The rumored cost for the Pixel Fold is $1,799.
For those on a tighter budget, the Pixel 7a, a more affordable model released annually by Google, is also expected to be announced at the I/O conference. According to SnoopyTech, the Pixel 7a units will start arriving in retail stores within the next two weeks.
Although Google has regularly released new versions of the Pixel and Pixel A-series phones, the Pixel Fold has been the subject of rumors without any official confirmation from the company until now. With less than a month until the I/O conference, it appears we may finally get a glimpse of the highly anticipated device.
