Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2023: Livestream Details and Exciting Reveals

Samsung is gearing up for its highly anticipated second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2023 on Wednesday, July 26 at 7 a.m. ET. During this event, they will be revealing an exciting lineup of new devices, with a particular focus on the latest foldable phones. If you’re curious about what Samsung has in store beyond their flagship Galaxy S smartphone series, this event is a must-watch.

To catch all the action as it unfolds, we’ve got you covered with details on how to watch the event live. Additionally, we’ll give you a sneak peek of what to expect, so you don’t miss out on any groundbreaking announcements.

As always, Samsung will be live-streaming the July Galaxy Unpacked event on its website and YouTube. For those eager to watch the event live from Seoul, Korea, simply click play at 4 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. ET.

While the exact duration of the event remains uncertain, the previous Galaxy Unpacked event in February lasted around an hour, suggesting a similar timeframe this time.

Anticipation is high for the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which are expected to take center stage. The Z Flip 5 might be the main focus for Samsung this week, as leaks indicate it will come with a notably larger cover screen compared to its predecessors, an essential improvement to compete with devices like Motorola’s Razr+. The screen is rumored to grow from 1.9 to 3.4 inches, which is quite exciting, but there are suggestions that it may still be limited to widgets and not support full-featured apps.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 faces increased competition, with Google’s Pixel Fold and OnePlus Open entering the foldable market. While the Z Fold 5 is likely to receive upgrades to its specifications, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and improved cameras, it may not represent as significant a leap forward as the Z Flip 5. However, Samsung might introduce a new “dumbbell” hinge to reduce the size of the phone’s infamous crease.

In addition to the new phones, Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy S9 Tab during the event on Wednesday. Though significant design changes may not be anticipated for these products, they are likely to offer exciting new features and enhancements.
