2 Ways to Change Your 3G to 4G LTE (5G Network)
|No one likes to spend ten seconds waiting for one page to finish loading before they can go on doing other activities as they surf the net. Now here is how to get across that line if you are still browsing with 3G on your Android Smartphone.
First I want to explain what 3G is and why we should opt-in for a 4G network
The word 3G means third generation, it is a mobile communication standard that complies with the International Mobile Telecommunications-2000 (IMT-2000) specifications by the International Telecommunication Union. It was first introduced in 1998 as an upgrade for 2G and 2.5G GPRS networks that allows mobile phones, computers, and other portable electronic devices to access the Internet wirelessly to send much bigger files, video and etc with fast internet speed.
Unlike 2G, the 3G mobile communication provides an information transfer of at least 0.2 Mbit/s. Later 3G releases often denoted 3.5G and 3.75G, also provide mobile broadband access of several Mbit/s to smartphones and mobile modems in laptop computers. This ensures it can be applied to wireless voice telephony, mobile Internet access, fixed wireless Internet access, video calls and mobile TV technologies.

While on the other hand, a 4G is simply the fourth generation of mobile network technology first introduced in 2008, a communication standard intending to be taken over from the 3G network, allowing wireless Internet access at a much better speed compared to that of a 3G network.
The first-release Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard (a 4G candidate system) has been commercially deployed in Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm, Sweden since 2009. It has, however, been debated whether first-release versions should be considered 4G, as discussed in the technical understanding section below…
